Special Missions Sunday is always a special day. We focus on the reason on why we give to help others. Giving is part of being a disciple of Jesus. We generally don't focus on it, but it is a test of our hearts as Christians. Money is more important in our lives than we would like to admit. Giving to God and his church helps to remind us of what is most important in life

Bankruptcy is a bad thing from a worldly sense. From a spiritual sense, it is essential. If ever we feel that we have it all figured out, then we stop learning. If we always feel "bankrupt" spiritually, we will constantly strive to learn more and more.
